The comprehensive upgrade of the concrete road is projected to reach completion within a span of four weeks. This ambitious project involves the meticulous removal of approximately 3,100 cubic meters of clean fill, which will be transported offsite to ensure a clean and stable foundation for the new road structure.
In addition to the removal of the clean fill, the project includes the installation of an impressive 3,650 tons of road base. This substantial amount of road base is crucial for providing the necessary support and durability required for the upgraded road, ensuring it can withstand the demands of heavy traffic and adverse weather conditions.
A significant milestone in the project was the commencement of the 380 cubic meters of concrete pour, which covered an area of 2000 square meters. This phase of the project began at the early hour of 5 a.m. and was successfully completed by 11 a.m. on the same day, demonstrating the efficiency and coordination of the construction team.
Furthermore, the project includes the construction of 400 meters of kerbing, which is essential for defining the road edges and providing a finished look to the roadway. The kerbing also plays a vital role in managing water runoff and enhancing the overall safety of the road.
Remarkably, all aspects of this extensive project are being handled in-house, showcasing the expertise and capability of the team involved. This approach not only ensures a high level of quality control but also allows for seamless communication and execution of the project plan.
